Pet Peeve: Too Sticky Stickers
Here's today's irritation: over sticky pricing stickers. Just today a new washing machine and a new candle in a jar are displaying the results of overly sticky price stickers. Now, granted, they're both likely to continue to work just fine with the white residue left on them. However, it really is irritating to have something that was to be new looking ruined by something that should have peeled right off. Any store that can manage to use price tags that stick but don't over stick is likely to have my undying devotion.

Tired
The company has come and gone. They were all delivered to Gatwick this morning bright and early and are undoubtedly squirming uncomfortably in a tiny airplane seat about now. The early morning, following a night of mediocre sleep has left a strong desire for a nap in it's wake. Seems as if a course for the afternoon is coming into focus. Sleep, sleep, sleep. Or at least cat nap, cat nap, cat nap. Too bad there is no sun here to stretch out in. A friendly sunbeam would be a welcomed addition to the day's napping plans.

Poem
There is an empty feeling
in my tummy today...
The grumbling makes me wonder
how did it get this way...
Was I remiss in eating
did my thoughts go astray...
Shall I try to remedy this situation
or grumble for the rest of the day...
My stomach is trying to have it's say
"Eat something right away!!"
in my tummy today...
The grumbling makes me wonder
how did it get this way...
Was I remiss in eating
did my thoughts go astray...
Shall I try to remedy this situation
or grumble for the rest of the day...
My stomach is trying to have it's say
"Eat something right away!!"
I should know better
It's very frustrating trend that going out to run errands in the morning seriously stresses the completion of daily tasks in a timely manner. Another equally frustrating trend is that the everyday tasks (read the kids school work) basically do not get done when company is coming in the evening. In what reality would both of these activities be compatible? When planning this day; a day with shopping in the morning and company in the evening; why didn't alarm bells go off? *Warning, warning* stress overload. Things will not get done. *Alert, alert* please revise your plans now to avoid mental anguish and guilt. Blah!

To begin
Will I have enough thoughts to keep this thing running? If I do have any thoughts, will they be nonsense?
